Associate QA Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an Associate QA Engineer who is passionate about software quality and automation testing. This role is ideal for early-career professionals looking to strengthen their testing fundamentals while working on real-world web and mobile applications under experienced mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automation test scripts for mobile applications using Appium (JavaScript).

  • Create and maintain automation scripts for web applications using Cypress or Playwright.

  • Execute automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines.

  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and define test strategies.

  • Perform regression and functional testing during releases and bug fixes.

  • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.

  • Maintain test documentation including test cases, plans, and reports.

  • Communicate testing progress and quality updates clearly with stakeholders.

  • Stay updated with modern QA and automation best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 0–2 years of experience in software testing or QA automation.

  • Strong understanding of software testing concepts and QA methodologies.

  • Exposure to iOS and Android application testing.

  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, Python, or Java.

  • Familiarity with Appium, Cypress, or Playwright.

  • Understanding of Git and version control workflows.

  • Exposure to API testing using Postman or similar tools.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.

  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
