Entry Level

HR Ops & Employee Engagement Specialist

Role Overview

We're looking for an HR Ops & Employee Engagement Associate to help make Carbonteq a place
people are genuinely excited to show up to — and to help the outside world see what makes it
special. This is an engagement-first role with a creative edge: you'll bring our culture to life
through events, wellness, and recognition, while also running our social media — planning and
creating content that tells the Carbonteq story.

You'll lean on AI tools to work faster and smarter on the content side, and keep our core HR
operations running smoothly behind the scenes. It's an ideal first or early role for someone who
lights up around people, has a creative streak, and wants to own real programs that touch the
whole company and shape how we show up online. You'll work closely with the Head of HR, with the
room and trust to make things happen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and run employee engagement activities, team building events, wellness initiatives, and celebrations that strengthen our culture and mark key milestones.

  • Manage the performance review cycle end to end coordinating timelines, templates, reminders, and followups so reviews run smoothly.

  • Handle day-to-day HR operations, including employee documentation, leave records, and HR data.

  • Plan, create, and manage content across our social media channels, using AI tools to speed up ideation, drafting, visuals, and scheduling.

  • Gather and track employee feedback and engagement data through surveys, then turn it into simple, actionable insights.

  • Own our recognition programs — making sure great work gets seen, appreciated, and celebrated across the company.

  • Handle basic HR operations — drafting employee letters, managing leave records, and keeping employee data accurate and up to date.

  • Support onboarding so new hires feel welcomed from day one and integrate quickly into the Carbonteq culture.
  • Drive internal communications that keep everyone in the loop on company news, changes, and what's coming next.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Psychology, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Up to 1-2 years of relevant experience.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail — you can juggle events, content, and HR tasks without dropping anything.

  • Genuine interest in people, culture, and employee experience.

Must Have

  • Content creation and social media chops — you can plan a
content calendar and produce posts people actually want to
    read.

  • Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Canva AI etc.

  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.

  • Proactive, organized, and ownership-driven mindset.

  • Creative approach to engagement and employer branding.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience running social media for a brand, society, or personal project — with results you can point to.

  • Familiarity with social scheduling / analytics tools and HR tools / HRIS or survey platforms.

  • Basic design or short-form video editing skills.

  • Exposure to a fast-paced tech or services environment.

Why Join Us

At Carbonteq, we hire for talent density and back it with trust — no
micromanagement, just ownership. Every voice matters here, and
this role puts you right at the center of that culture: shaping how
people experience their work day to day, and how the world sees
Carbonteq online.

You'll get real programs to own from early on, room to be creative, and the support to
grow fast. We're a team that believes great people do their best work when they're
trusted, supported, and genuinely enjoy where they work — collaborative, low on ego,
and high on impact.
